The French bespoke shirt brand celebrates 10 years in March 2017. The prestigious Domaine de Chatillon based just outside of Angers, France, threw a lavish celebration. Classified as a historic patrimony, this Angevin Domaine sits in the center of 8 hectares, which surrounds the realm’s castle. Founder Sébastien Château has hosted more than 570 guests in this heaven. The mayor of Angers, Christophe Béchu, Olympic swimmer Grégory Mallet, as well as the French TV presenter, Elyas Akhoun are just a few who joined the festivity among many others, which include regional brand partners such as Axa, Angers TV, La Boucherie, and more.
To amaze his guests, many performances were done to give a beat to the party. Each one more spectacular than the other. Hypnotists Yoan Guillouet and Jean-Paul surprised their audience by sending brave volunteers to sleep. A croupier at a gaming table entertained the players. Not to mention, all of this was done with the background music being played by Gabriel-Fouad Nohra.
Athletes performed. Laurent Fries and Rodrigues Listoir stepped in the ring for a respectful fight. Dancer Paul Elam performed to modern-jazz and hip-hop, expressing freedom of the body through his movements.
“Empreinte-moi is a brand which responds to needs of athletes, nonstandard sizes and lovers of customization. As a boxer, I wanted this event to introduce some practices and to encourage athletes that have supported us over these 10 years”, says Sébastien Château.
In the middle of the celebration, a dozen models presented the bespoke shirt selection designed just for the occasion by its stylists. Their poetic faces painted in white inspired neutrality as a means to move into the guest's imagination, enabling them to identify and project themselves into the clothing. Chic shirk Nehru collars, women with tiles, men with Vichy patterns. At Empreinte-moi there are multiple options, just like the infinite number of combinations the made-to-measure garment offers.
“Everyone is unique; our bodies and our tastes as well. It is not easy to find exactly what you want in shops, especially for athletes. Through it, the bespoke garment is a good answer to the increasing demand”, said Marion Cochener, French champion of kickboxing and founder’s partner.
Throughout the night, guests appreciated regional wines, champagne, and the gastronomic Reunion, French Island flavors, as a reference to the founder’s origins. This 10-year anniversary celebration promises several more blossoming years for the brand.
