Why choose made-to-measure for a women’s shirt
A made-to-measure women’s shirt starts from your body shape, not from an average size. That is the most visible difference: where ready-to-wear forces a compromise between bust, waist and shoulders, an individual pattern treats each of them separately. No more gaping between the buttons, no more armholes cut too low, no more length to alter.
Cut and body shape
We draw the cut from your measurements: bust, waist, hips, shoulder width and sleeve length. A made-to-measure women’s shirt can be fitted, straight or slightly tailored, depending on what you wear underneath and how you use it — office, evening, everyday.
Collars, fabrics, cuffs and finishes
The collar sets the tone: classic, Italian, or wing collar for a formal outfit. As for fabrics: poplin for structure, oxford for texture, linen for summer, chambray for a relaxed look. Cuffs, buttons and optional embroidery are chosen separately — that is what makes a made-to-measure women’s blouse rather than an altered standard shirt.
How to send us your measurements
Two methods: take them on yourself with a tape measure, or measure a shirt you already wear, laid flat. Our measuring guide details every step. We then keep them for your next orders.
